And all US development is bug free, on time and under budget, right? Come on chaps. There is no clear cut "outsourcing is bad, stick with us" rule. You will get bad outsourcers as you will get bad local dev. Both have their challenges, their pros and cons. A corporate I was working for has outsourced the development of their new reservation system, they hired an team from India to do a proof of concept model. It was great, ASP.NET talking to a third party back-end system via TCP/IP (3 months they worked on it). Nice code, great documentation. Sadly, the corporation decided to use a firm in America who have not even managed to get a simple desktop system running yet. What I meant is that irrespective of when you go to bed, waking up at around 7 AM - say to answer the phone - and then going back to bed - as you know you can sleep till 9 - is absolute bliss! Nish
