The baby - Ellie - rocks! The best thing that has happened to me since the day I met my wife! Well, I am actually getting more sleep than I expected - Ellie wakes up 2 or 3 times a night, but is soon off again once fed. Last night she was grumpy though - bad tummy - but I still managed to snatch 5 or 6 hours. I am back at work this week (working at home today though) so it will be a real test! I was worried that I wouldn't be able to continue working from home, but at the moment Ellie seems to sleep more in the day than at night, so I am getting lots of work done... we'll see if this trend continues though - she's less than 2 weeks old and has only been home for 9 days!

O.K. we all know how those records that we loved when we were younger sound like crap now that we've gotten a bit older and slower yet some of them still manage to sound as good today as the day we first heard them. So here's a quick list in no particular order Hanx :- Stiff Little Fingers The Sensual World :- Kate Bush Live Chronicles :- Hawkwind Fresh Fruit For Rotten Vegetables :- Dead Kennedys The Lion And The Cobra :- Sinead O'Conner Surfa Rosa/Come On Pilgrim :- Pixies Violent Femmes :- Violent Femmes So what do you lot think has stood the test of time? At least in the late 70s, the punk music that they also tried to fashion into their own music did complemented what they already had. The following bands/albums have aged well, in general The Kinks, Stones, Eagles, Van Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, pre-sobriety Aerosmith, The Cure, Rush, Zeppelin, The Police, Floyd (Meddle - Final Cut), The Cars - Cars / Candy-O / Heartbreak City, Ozzy - Diary of a Madman, Styx - Grand Illusion, Ted Nugent - Frre For All oh, almost forgot Cream - Disraeli Gears BW CP Member Homepages
