Do you mean that black and white aren't technically colors?

Apples and Oranges may both be fruit just as Linux and ASP are software but they are built to acomplish different things. Anyway, as you should know, CP are in the process of rewriting the site to use ASP.NET.

IHMO It's common knowledge that popular OSS is more efficient, cost-effective and secure/bug free than it's propritary MS counterparts. Both have their ups and downs, i'll agree, but where open source is usually best for tech savvy individuals MS makes a tradeoff between pure performance for a more commercial ease of use quality software. I'm willing to bet that OSS OS,etc are still in the lead as far as web servers are concerned.
