Same problem when trying to use USB devices with Hyper-V, we tried to use an "EV Token" USB dongle for signing purposes but that is not possible with Hyper-V. There seem to be some 3rd-party solutions however.

I still have an ME installer that I never used all legal OEM copy some where.

Not sure if this applies here, but whenever I need to take a screenshot that includes a right-click menu (and trying to get the screenshot makes the menu go away), I remote (RDP) into the system that should be displaying the popup, do the right-click to bring up the menu, then take a screenshot from the system running the RDP window. You might want to run RDP in a window (not full-screen) if you're not using a multi-screen system.
