It's a WPF app, which creates a new entity and sends it to the API. When the API call returns, I am now passsing back the Guid and assigning the new entity. Thanks If it's not broken, fix it until it is. Everything makes sense in someone's mind. Ya can't fix stupid.

I got the SSL/TLS working today with a self contained certificate within the project running in Docker for Windows, and it connects to my MongoDB as well. It took lots of research on Kestrel and how it works. The part that sucks is that all of the examples are for developing and not production and actual deployment. Just finding the nomenclature for searching was difficult as well. But it involves certificate pinning and how to run a container with Kestrel and https. That other reply is precise but not very useful. If you have a Mongodb where collections do not have some specific form then you are using it wrong. Besides the CLI I have also used two different UI clients for Mongo and both show the data that are in the collections in a reasonable way. Now if you are starting with a empty collection you won't know what will go in there and with a SQL table you would but that that is somewhat a matter of degree and not usability. In that case you should go look to your design, which you should have regardless, or the code.

MongoDB developers had a few things to say about the fact that AWS was using a dated, not current implementation most likely implicating concerns for security and support. Seems to me that real world interest lie with safety first rather than the issues regarding project nature like open-sourcing. Fascinating that the middle fingers have scalar in leu of intelligence behind those icons --an army of well-armed monkeys. Would surmise that any whom utilize AWS documentDB service(s) become more concerned with points stated by MongoDB developers, rather than overly concerned with the project's source accessibility/licensing focus for the moment.
