When I was off with a bad back last year I managed to get through most of a week watching films I'd Sky+d but never got around to watching. Although 3 of them were the Godfather films so took up a bit more time than your usual film. The best way to amuse yourself is to dose up on drugs and drink then watch children's TV.

If you switch to QVC I think they sell a 1,000,000 Candlea Torches* :) * Flashlights for our cousins accoss the pond. One of the few examples where they get it wrong IMO.

The word 'torch' could create confusion if you are actually talking about a real torch (stick w/fire). On our side of the pond, we eliminated that confusion.
Both are handheld sources of illumination. What is the confusion? :rolleyes:

Oh, I don't know, there are some good programs on TV. Mainly BBC documentaries and science programs. Top Gear is fine if you're a 'petrol-head'.

I find that TV in general has become overly stupid, but I agree, some programs are entertaining, educating, some are both. I like Top Gear, it's a top quality program, but still just a waste of time :)

You're quite right, it is a waste of time in the productivity sense, however, I don't mind wasting some of my time now and then. In fact, I think it's to be recommended!
