OMG! "surfing the net" that expression is sooo nineties! Back in the day we used a 14400bps dial-up modem to connect to Compuserve to catch the waves! Those were the days when you could actually see an image forming in your screen while it was (slowly!) downloaded. :D Anyways all that talk about surfing and waves has put me in the mood for some Beach Boys! Surf's up dude!

But if you invite people to a party, everyone asks if you want them to bring some alcohol regardless of prices for booze are continuously rising and the taxes on hem never (ever!) get lower. THAT is incongruence!

I agree with you completely. I think you have to know at least alittle bit of history so you can fully understand how things got to be the way they are now. And ignoring who Mr. Ritchie was is like calling you acomic book fan but ignore who Superman is, Dennis Ritchie was and still is on of the, if not THE mos influential oerson, programer, developer, architecht in the history of Computer Science.

I believe it is when your wife/spouse is sitting next to you when you are driving and starts to "correct" you and warns abput being too close to that car, to people walking by, to the traffic lights and signs, to bikes and dogs passing by, etc., etc., etc.

I hear you man and I feel your pain! I am also fed up with these places where you have to know a new language to get an overpriced cup of coffee either alto, benti, macciato,... WTH?! I ended up buyin a new coffee machine for my office that holds the coffee bens, grinds them, ads the water and brews a perfect cup everytime I please and exactly the way I want it. Now all my coworkers are standing in line to get a cup at my desk but I don't mind as long as they chip in for a new bag of grains every now and then. Life is simple and ggod. Good coffee does not need sugar and bad coffee doesn't deserve it! :)
