  • Your code is far more chaff than wheat
    A AndersonChau

I think it is too early to jump to the conclusion that most code are 'useless' as chaff. If we are to throw away the 'chaff' and just submit the 'wheat' to client, it would be a disaster. OOP introduce "redundency" because we want to system to be scalable and extensible. We are living in an imperfect world , our main objective is to provide convenience to users and other developers, rather than giving values to every lines of code.

  • Raspberry Pi 2 announced, 2 years early
    A AndersonChau

I think that would be enough for the computing power even for video streaming. For an embedded system, it is still lacking in built-in wireless interface like Wifi/Blueooth/BLE/Zigbee/NFC/ZWave. A dongle could fix the problem but it will use a USB port.

  • How long long is your total time in Project Setup HELL
    A AndersonChau

Once my Eclipse IDE said some of jar files are corrupted , I was not able fix the problem after a day. I then formatted the PC and reinstall all the stuff again, it took me 2 days to get the workspace working. I hate those freaking classpath that are scattered throughout of my computer.

[1] Improvement to quality of life is too marginal [2] It is not a norm that manufacturers of home appliances expose the control interface through Wifi/Bluetooth/Zigbee/ZWave [3] Security is also an issue. The kid next door may be adding too much sugar to your coffee.

  • Terms and Conditions
    A AndersonChau

What constitutes a valid term depends not only on what you have agreed, but also on the legislation by the parliament and common law principles established by the court. ( Suppose it is within the common law world's jurisprudence ). I think : Generally the terms cannot be changed after the contract is formed, once there is change in terms one must communicate to another party. The later must agree in order to form a 'new contract' if the term is 'important'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thornton\_v\_Shoe\_Lane\_Parking\_Ltd
