the key word if "believe". This is just one theory, not proven. Also, the poems could have been written about Nohah's flood.

No one is of the mere belief that they were written. They are written in cuniform on stone tablets that date to about the year 2600. I refer you to the word bollox used earlier. Anthony

Talking as someone who thinks all religions are complete bollox, a view which you've all managed to confirm recently. I thought I should point out that most of the stories in both religions stem from much older stories many of which where around in pre christian egyptian and Babylonian times, with many of the central themes, world floods etc dating back to times before the written word. As an example there are references to the great flood in Gilgamesh a Mesapotamian poem believed to have been written about 2600 BC on clay tablets. Anthony

I haven't actually watched it yet and the reason is that the thing was just so hyped that I was sick of hearing about it before it even reached the cinema. Loved the first one No interest at all in the second, perhaps I'll watch it when they put on as the chrimbo film on the beeb in a few years time. Anthony www.TonysOpenSource.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk

From what I've read diet and drugs seem the most likely but at the end of the day it's all going to depend on how the consultant views the situation when I see him in July. Although from what I've read my condition isn't that bad in terms of how bad it could be so to me it would make more sense to that way rather than through the surgical route. I mentioned in December that I'd just started throwing up at the beginning of November and nobody could tell me why. Six months later I finally appear to have an answer ( I haven't seen the specialist yet but I have the condition that can cause the symptoms I'm having so as far as I'm concerned someone is going to have to prove it's not the case ) It appears I have a bowel adhesion which means bits of the small intestine are sticking to other bits of the small intestine. Since this is caused by surgery most likely my kidney transplant, further surgery is not ideal as once this thing starts to happen further surgery is just likely to cause more of the same. So it's looking like a live with it situation. I'll miss the money but I really can't say I'm not sick of working for morons who aren't intelligent enough to understand what I'm talking about even after I've explained everything to them. On the brighter side I now have time to do my own stuff and then write it up for codeproject :-D Anthony www.TonysOpenSource.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk

having read "The Salmon of doubt" I really wouldn't recommend it to any but ardent Douglas Adam's fans, while I appreciate the fact that it allows readers to ensure that they have read everything he wrote there is a damn good reason why most of the stuff in it wasn't published in book form in his life time. I've never been in a book club I mostly search through well to be honest just about any shop that sell's books that I come across both new or second hand. http://www.codeproject.com/useritems/EvolutionaryFramework.asp#xx487761xx[^] Some of the non articles have been pretty dire on code project but this has to be the most pathetic ever, Not only is it a non article it's a statement saying that at some undetermined point in the future the author may or may not have something to say on the subject but he's posting an article to tell us that right at this very moment he definately doesn't have much to say and so far has absolutely no code to back up his complete lack of statements. You are hearby warned that I intend to right everything I have nothing to say on this subject right now but as long as I live for ever I'm sure I'll think of something. As for u lot u may as well pack up your compilers and go home now cause I've got it covered. No honestly I mean it. Anthony www.TonysOpenSource.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk

America and Britain both sold weapons to iraq ( think the french sold a few too ) America and the british sas trained iraqi and taliban troops ( the sas traning took place up in the Scotish highlands ) We built the the chemical plants ( UK ) (( That's how we knew where it was )) and Cheney or Rumsfeld sold them the nerve gas ( Which is how they knew they had it ) Not sure who sold them the rockets Funnily enough at the time none them gave a crap about iragi people. In fact they were so concerned about them that they imposed the very sanctions that they are talking about sending humanitarian aid in to relieve the effects of.
