My problem with post-it wall is that eager cleaning lady buzzing around with her vacuum cleaner while leaving the windows open to get some fresh air... And another minor issue might be when you have one or more remote teams. Sending the pictures of your post-it wall whether during stand-ups or each time after you move a ticket can be a bit ehm 'funny' :-)

What flowchart tool do you use?Visio for many years. Then I found this online remake. Recently thanks to Confluence used more the plug-ins as Graphvis and PlantUml. X-mind (mentioned by someone) mainly for brainstorming and idea development.

Inspired by HTTP Error 418...- Here, tea is the preferred choice without any spoilers such as milk or sugar. All kinds excluding those mentioned by OP as those are not considered tea. Good black Ceylon as a day starter, variety of greens for afternoon. Evenings with a Goral or Original version of Tatratea (Drinkhacker review - Tatratea[^]). :) Coffee only as a digestion accelerator with a bunch of milk... 2) Porcelain cup is a must & strainer too

Question on 404 (not technical, I just want opinions)How about code '204 No Content'? I would say based on the definition it is closest to your case...

Creating useful Technical Documentation for a projectAs a part of a bigger enterprise I am using Confluence - Team Collaboration Software | Atlassian[^] with Plant UML macro that is capable of different type of diagrams (activity, use case, sequence, class and more). It is true that with first few examples you might need to study a bit the documentation (but it is out there) and I am not sure how does the licensing work (I saw there is trail version but haven't tried it). Apart of these, sometimes I reach for these tools too: Flowchart Maker & Online Diagram Software[^] XMind: The Most Popular Mind Mapping Software on The Planet.[^] WWW SQL Designer[^] I hope it helps

What technology stack would you recommend as I start my first ever ASP.NET real project?Hi Marc, as it has been mentioned here most probably ASP.NET MVC seems a way to go. The ASP.NET webpages is slightly lighter and not that structured as MVC (which could be good if you want to ship something quickly that is pretty simple). ASP.NET webforms are still there but it is MVC that is catching a big momentum (if talking about Microsoft). Other non MS frameworks I heard of (but never touch them), your lovely ruby on rails and maybe java spring... Some people here are mentioning WebAPIs with rich client side javascript frameworks (AngularJS, typescript, coffeescript, etc.). I would use these if planning to do some apps on mobile devices. I would not bother if targeting purely website interface. Well, I think javascript is unavoidable today, but WebAPIs are not always needed I think. But then again, if you want to play with the techno, this can be good opportunity to lay the hands on ;P Last thing - the database. ASP.NET MVC seems to be working fine with multiple db systems (MySql, MongoDB) but if you are Microsoft guy, I think there is no reason to go further then one of MS SQL mutations. However if you are planning to use some ORM frameworks (Entity Framework, NHibernate, etc.) one thing to decide first would be the famous discussion Code First - Model First - Database First approach. Recently it seems that trend is Code First approach. The other two seem to me slightly less popular on discussion boards nowadays. Just my 20p to discussion ;-)

What have you made with your own two hands?growing plants and card board modeling

What do you call this job ?You are missing Ace of Spades on your list :-) Anyway, I would go with something that has 'implementation' in its name. Most probably 'Implementation Officer' (or even Manager, depending on whether you have or have not the decision making power). 'System Analyst' does not sound that bad either. I saw some companies call similar people 'Product managers'...

Where would you live? You mean like Money is nowhere else to find? :)

Interesting workplaceYes, French are a bit obsessed with the degrees. Even after years of experience they still could check your academic background. But if you do not have masters it does not mean automatically no. At the end I think you always need a little bit of luck... French language - I would say is not essential, but again it depends on the company. I've met with many people here that can barely ask for a Coke in the restaurant in French (Yes, it is "un Coca") but they still managed to get hired. Well at least that is my impression...

Where would you live?Right now a couple of years I am taking advantage of French Riviera hospitality and I cannot complain. From your checklist it does not comply in one point only - Oil $ Gas, but then again what are the motives to keep that one? The regions is nice, I've been lucky to find English speaking job and that little amount of French you need for daily task I was able to learn. The problem with this region? Not that many job opportunities; full of tourists every summer and most of all French bureaucracy :P However, trade-off is in a form of climate and nature that outbalance these things a lot... With little bit of balancing and sacrificing other options could be also considered (except those already mentioned in the discussion): - Italian peninsula (though not sure how important English language is for you :-) ) - Barcelona - Malta - Hong-Kong - and as we all saw last winter, Sochi could be mentioned here too ;-)
