I finally cracked this one. The gap was inside the 'menu' div. The problem was caused by the 'float:left' in the 'menu' div. I took it out and the gap above the logo disappeared. I watched the ball fall into the net and I saw the ref wave off and then card the hell out of the Croatian player, but the broadcasters were more concerned with the cards then reporting why the goal was not counted?
