I know you have already been given a solution to this, but I just thought I give you an important tip. This didn't work because you are declaring and adding variables with a lowercase 'a' in amount, but assigning the values to an uppercase Amount. This makes them different variables. Amount != amount. JavaScript is case sensitive.

Looks nice. Have you tried one in a shop or are you just buying it online? I would always advise trying it with a strap to check it has good balance. I once bought one which was a bit unbalanced and was a bit hard to play because I was having to support the weight of the neck as I played. Never again. I currently play a Yamaha RGX, which I've had for about 14 years now and still love. Currently in the market for a new bass amp for gigging.

We had to settle for a visit to Hartlepool nuclear power station :(( The only exciting bit was when we saw a very large open oil drum type container filled the the brim with a fluorescent green liquid. It was like something off the Simpsons. We got shouted at to get away from it, and they wouldn't answer questions about what it was. Looking back, it was probably just Swarfega, but it seemed exciting at the time.

A late reply (just catching up with The Lounge after a long weekend), but nobody has mentioned Charles Stross yet. His books, Accelerando and Singularity Sky are excellent sci-fi. Also try Alan Campbells Scar Night and Iron Angel if you like alternate reality / fantasy type stuff. I am waiting for the third book in the trilogy to be published later this year. Also anything by Vernor Vinge, Ken MacLeod, Ian MacDonald, China Mieville.
