Hi, Christian. I've done some hobby development using the .NET CF. A couple of good books to read (both cover .NET CF 1.0) are The Definitive Guide to the .NET Compact Framework[^] by Larry Roof and .NET Compact Framework Programming with C#[^] by Paul Yao and David Durant (also has a VB.NET version). I have both and they are great to get you started. The NET CF isn't as powerful as the full desktop framework, but it's certainly a powerful platform for mobile devices. It's easily more powerful than eMbedded Visual Basic was (and you could do some pretty nifty programs with that). As for a career in the .NET CF, can't really help you there, unfortunately. I tried to introduce it to the state shop I'm in, but everyone else wanted to program Palms. *sigh* Flynn
