There are tons of examples still floating around that use the 2005 version of Adventureworks that don't work with the newer versions due to minor schema changes. I found one the other day where I had to spend an hour tinkering with the dmv/code to even get it to work. :mad: Another time, following an example from a book, I got an unhandled exception when opening a print preview window, even though my code matched the book exactly. Handling/ignoring the error meant the print preview failed entirely. Upgrading a machine is free, but a clean install requires a product key. That's what I experienced anyway, I did the upgrade first then a clean install and had to come up with a key when doing the clean install.

Yeah, I've got that setup now. My primary is a SSD and the second drive is a 4TB where all of my stuff is now sitting. I've got two backups running. The first is backing up to a USB attached drive.
