Has anyone tried the touchdevelop app for wp8? Personally I find it fun. It's the perfect time waster :) I think it's one of the best apps out there if not the best.

Depends. If you don't care at all about the look and feel then S3. Else at least for me HTC 8X all the way. It's snappy, versatile fast and GORGEOUS. I especially like the California Blue color. Simply beautifull(for a phone don't go there) :) Sorry(missread the title), One X i don't know what to say about.

I got the blue 8x. Tired of waiting for nokia. Supsedly in will arrive in romania either second half of december of next year X| I got a good deal and it has a lot of let's say "sex appeal". Nice overall.

I have faith. Now if you expect wp8 to be the dominant mobile platform by 2014 then no, no chance. But it will grow. And I think they(ms) have a nice ace in their pocket regarding games/gaming. Time will tell... Just ny opinion...

Resolution is not all as I think you know. It's about the smothness, frame rate, bruightness and more much more. So yeah, in my opinion, the 920+ has better video recording than most of the 1080p ones. I'm not saying it's the best cause I can't really pronounce since I havent tried one. But from the tech reviews it's pretty good.

It's not about nVidia or ATI. Just that laptop GPUs are such a lie. They're at least 2-3 times slower than their desktop counterparts. Just get a desktop for playing games. Seriously.

I've recently embarked on such a journey. But I'm lucky in that I got to choose all technologies and hardware too. While it is not used for planning (mighty bloaty SAP for that), it will be used for reports and stats(perfromane, echipment efficeincy...). Anyway I went for the old school replication set up. A small light weight sql express 2012 localDB on local machines, that replicates each 10 min or the given interval with a DB server on SQL 2008 R2 enterprise. For the hardware side we went with arduino. Arduino controlls a couple of hardware buttons(good part, scrap, breakdonw...) and it also gets lots of data from different sensors. This way anybody can see in almost real time all the stats of the line. Ayway if you found my post helpfull please mail me for further talks/details. PS: I have very little knolege of PLC and sensors. The PLC engineer gets the data form sensors and PLC's into the arduinos, and from there on is my job.
