Sadly, it is certainly a conclusion at this point. Best wishes, David

Responses like that reinforce the conclusion. A "thank you for your input" and then shut up would have been a far better response. Best wishes, David

(If you continue in this way, you are going to be viewed as a pompous idiot. First you were pushing us to help Dave, by reviewing his book, and even created a dedicated thread in order to do so. Then you say you were playing with him. Now you say that you have years of experience in advertising campaigns for 'the biggest companies!' But you didn't recognize his post as the advertisement it seems to be. And now you are apologizing to Dave in another thread. It is hard to take you seriously after these actions. It is incredibly difficult to believe that you are not Dave, even though you refute the idea. (In the future, maybe think a bit more before jumping in head over heels like this. You diminish yourself with actions such as these.)

I was talking about the option to dock left or right. They could have just added an option to the old menu to center it as you like, and improved the menu that way. But doing so wouldn't have satisfied their hubris, I guess...

Just wait till they 'cloud'-ify everything in the next iteration of Windows - it will be SO MUCH BETTER!!! X| X| X| X| Their hubris is almost unbearable. How many years has it been, and you still can't place the start menu on the right or left sides of the screen, like you could in Win10? It's going to get worse...

Are you asking if you need to become familiar with the P-code that C# emits, in order to create your solution? I don't understand the question the way it is worded.

He should go get a loan and excavate it himself! He'll make bank when he finds the drive! (And it is unreadable because a Cat drove over it a couple times and crushed the plates.)

His post, and your replies to it, sound more like a marketing campaign. "Here's my book - first five people to respond get free copies!" Skimming the free preview at https://www.amazon.com/Essential-Software-Development-Career-Technical-ebook/dp/B0BXHYWMDP[^] , the first page of the Foreword screams that it needs a lot of additional editing. For instance, "This book is arranged in collections of those topics that you can read all the way, skim through, or look up whenever you need some guidance." The word 'those' is terrible in this usage. I would recommend something more along the lines of "This book covers many topics that can be skimmed or browsed in-depth when guidance is needed." But I would also recommend eliminating about a thousand of those "this book" phrases. They are highly repetitious, and not a sign of good writing. Based on the fact that such terrible English is used this early in the writing, I suspect reading it will be quite painful for those attuned to such crappy writing. Especially as the following writing in the Foreword is quite crappy. "This book will employ practical ..." should be "This book employs practical ..." etc... And then the Disclaimer basically says nobody should read 'this book' because it is to be used "at your own risk." "The author and publisher are not making any warranties to the information provided." Pretty big cop-out for someone to put in a book they say will help people. This section doesn't set a 'tone' for a book I would be interested in. Hope this review is helpful.
