Real programmers would use notepad over any editor such as front page. The only reason I use VS Ide is for intellsence. If i could get that in another application it would be used (SNAP FAST!!!).

in 2000 when i only had about 2 years of exp i got layed off. I had a very hard time finding a job so i did just what your stating..Go solo. My thoughts behind it are if you can make 90+k a year why bother. It is so much work for a starter company is it really worth it? your talking 80+ hours a week. You need to make the choice on what to do.. I would say no if you have a job paying well

I am sorry blame is not good to place. But it is in the hands of the developer of the product. If your library fails then it is the developers issue to fix it. The issue could come from lots of other issues, but it is still your job to figure out what happens. If you are using sharepoint 2007 I have seen this issue a lot. As a developer I am ??? in the air because i can nor the team figure out why this issue happens. We think our issue has something to do a file locked and we are not handling the execptio, which could cause a execption in the dll to load.

This has something to do with the driver. It has nothing to do with vista. The drivers for vista suck right now.. That is a very big part of the issue

I think this falls under user error. Did you check to see if you had write permissions to the folder. I have never had a issue with copy and paste in vista

With windows xp sp2 it would only use 1 core out of the 4. I could tell this because core 1 was at about 13% idol and the other 3 cores were at 0 or 1% idol.

I can state with 4 cores vista runs all 4 cores with the same process %. Meaning it uses all 4 cores equal.. This is just what i have noticed

Hello, I am going to programming to a finger print scanner. I am unable to get the sdk for the device. Does anybody know where to start to program to a usb device. I can talk to the com ports with out any problems.. But I can not figure out how to talk to the usb ports.. Thanks Chris Calzaretta:confused:
