Flooding? You actually have to go looking for them to find them. SB 1.0 is a safety valve to keep controversial content off the main part of the site. If you don't want to see it, please don't visit.

We had some posts disappear in SoapBox 1.0. Is CP having issues with posts being mistakenly deleted as spam/abuse...again? If so, please return the missing posts. Thanks SB1.0 Admin

  • Possible SPAM filter issue

As the admin of that particular forum, SB1.0, I see no need to have outside moderation. If there is an issue with posting, I will deal with it appropriately. Is there a way to disable flagging for SB1.0 such that it doesn't enter the site moderation queue? This may be a question for Chris.

I don't much like being on the receiving end. It can be funny to watch especially when they are mistakenly convinced that I can help them in some way.

  • Bacon Cutting Torch
    G Gary Kirkham

It isn't the bacon, it's the oxygen. That's how cutting torches work, you generate the initial heat with a fuel and oxygen, but the cutting is done by the molten metal being combusted with the oxygen. Once this process is initiated, then the initial fuel source can be turned off (or the bacon removed  ) and the metal cutting will continue.

Good list. I might add some boots (although you probably wear boots all the time) and a lightweight rain suit (like Frogg Toggs) or a poncho.

I may do some more "massaging" on mine at some point. I had put quite a bit of money into my Gold Cup years ago before it got stolen. It would drive tacks. Damn shame. I doubt I will put that much into this one. I did buy a pea-shooter recently (Ruger LCP), but I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

...and probably less effective. On a lighter note, I bought a Springfield "Mil-Spec" .45 a few months ago. The price was right and overall I like the gun, but I did put a C&S trigger kit in...made a big difference. Next thing may be to replace the virtually nonexistent sights.
