It's really not intended to be a key logger. I'll explain. I have a program that requires that I press the number '2' repeatedly; basically instead of pressing it manually, I'd like to just hold the button till I press the '+' key to terminate. While I agree that it can be saved somewhere as a file and then emailed / transfered over the network it's not my intended purpose. I really have a genuine need to press repteatedly. This isn't intended as an insult, but you jumped to a conclusion which is not accurate at all.

If you are using ASP.NET, then look at the GridView control. Your 'add row' would be placed in the footer along with a command button to submit the new data back for processing. There are a number of tutorials on the web describing the technique, just search google for "GridView add new row" or something like that. I don't understand what you mean by 'objects'. Are you referring to controls hosted by the form? Or are you talking more generally about accessing the values of class-level object variables based on the name of the variable? If it is the latter, there is no built-in way of doing this. That is because it is inefficient. There is little reason to loop through all controls everytime you want to update a specific one. VB tends to save lines of code not cpu cycles.

And index I guess... but of what? 4) What is that trailing underscore doing everywhere (not relevant for your question as such I guess, just wondering).
