It's Markdown - it does that when you have a double blank in a code block: if (a == b) DoSomething(); else DoSomethingElse(); It looks ok in the preview, but it stuffs it when posted. It also removes doubled back slashes: \\ in favour of a single one from time to time. Needless to say, it won't do it this time, just to be annoying... Even if it's disabled, it still does it from time to time. Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Thanks for pointing this out to me, I don't use the forums bit much (basically use it to comment on articles). I did look for something like this, but only under the drop-down menus @ the top... didn't realise the item on the left menu, I think that it should also be under the "Help" menu. The popularity ranking takes account of the number of people having voted, thus preventing the effect of "top article is one with only one vote of 5". The formula damps the general vote with a logarithmic integration of the number of votes, so an article with only one vote of 5 has a rather low "popularity", and an article with lots of 3 or 4 votes will have a much better ranking. In the search mask, you can order by "popularity" rather by "rating". OK ... every time i save the article and come back in it adds another br to the end of each line break in both IE and Opera! I am going to my articles, edit, it opens up, click the HTML button, click save draft, go back to my articles, edit, click the HTML button again ... and then there is now a new br for EVERY LINE BREAK in the WYSIWYG editor (next to the old ones)!!! i00 Spell Check - No Third Party Components Required!
