That would work, if there were companies that DIDN'T use them. I recently had a spate of issues that had me calling several different companies in the space of a few days. Even when I called a company in Australia ( that is, with local support ), not one person I spoke to had English as a first language. Hi, I recommended this before, I know, but a very good start to understand what is under the hood and how the whole thing is working in general is a book by Jeffrey Richter: MS .NET programing! It explains bits about C# and uses C# as the example code language AND provides you with a very good understanding about how all the internals (garbage collection, JIT compiler etc. works). Hey Madhu, Yes, I guess Diploma holders and 3-year degree holders do make it here, but most companies would prefer someone with a 4-year engineering degree.
