Well it seems my hint about a joke was misunderstood. The problem "If you come back to the search page the textbox under "Saved Queries" is empty" is really happening.

Due to the way Reputation Points are recorded, there are occasional errors in the calculations. As a result of this, we run a background task that recalculates the reputation points, so the number of points may change. "Mistakes are prevented by Experience. Experience is gained by making mistakes."
