Simply WonderfulHmmm... This article again calls into question the value of certification. "...The designation, given to outside experts who prove their ability to work with Microsoft technologies, has also been achieved by some teenagers..." The MCP designation is given as the result of the successful passing (70% or so) of a multiple choice test. My feeling is the girl is just good at taking multiple choice tests... Code Project RSS Feed Not Working? Is it? Or is it not? I seem to get Object reference not set to an instance of an object. :( Whenever I browse to it. I ask because I just downloaded an RSS reader and am trying to set it up to pull C# articles. "Those that say a task is impossible shouldn't interrupt the ones who are doing it." - Chinese Proverb

I Just Tried FirefoxI had just the opposite experience with your site. Came up fine the first time I hit it. When I refreshed the browser, all the tables were strangely arranged. I agree, though. If the browser can render it fine one time, why not all the time. "Those that say a task is impossible shouldn't interrupt the ones who are doing it." - Chinese Proverb

1440 SpamHi Rocky That would be me... I have forgotten up until this point, but the link below is the URL for the spam solution I use at home. http://www.softwaredevelopment.net.au/pge_steven.htm[^] It's called STEVEN. I like it because my wife thinks I developed it and named it after myself... ;P It's free to use, though it does have a popup (1 second for every 50 spam, maximum of 60 seconds) that reminds you it would be a good deed to register (and pay some money) to the company. If you are a non-profit or other such entity, you can apply for a free license. Seems to work very well for me. I haven't seen any spam in my inbox for quite a while now. The ones that DO slip through are the ones where the sender has spoofed the email to look like it came from my own domain. Visio gone in VS.NET 2003?I believe it is bundled with Office 2003 now. Indeed. A quick look at the MS website: Visio 2003 "Microsoft Office Visio® 2003, the Microsoft Office business and technical diagramming program, helps you transform ideas and traditional business data into diagrams. Visio helps you better understand and communicate important information, so you can improve your decision-making process, build consensus across the organization, enhance communication, and make a more professional, lasting impact on your audience. Learn more about Visio 2003[^]. Which makes more sense to me than bundling with Visual Studio. Sure, it's a good tool for UML and database modeling. But it also does so much more in regards to business and productivity. Plus, there are FAR better tools out there for UML that actually integrate into the VS.NET IDE and actually write code for you (Rational XDE [^]for example) Visio IS included in the Enterprise Architect version of VS.NET, but I believe it is Visio 2002, not 2003. However, now that the Office 2003 release is imminent, they may actually include Visio 2003 instead. SCO vs IBMMore fuel for the fire: http://c.moreover.com/click/here.pl?r75985805 [^] Apparently, source code from SCO Unix was found inside the Linux Kernel... The tip off? Code Comments! According to the article, the code comments are the DNA that proves the case... Personally, I think SCO faces two options: 1. Continue on with the lawsuit, perhaps win, and then face the wrath of 1000's (hundreds of 1000's?) developers in the open source community. Read this as continuous DOS, multiple cracks, etc. 2. Get purchased by Big Blue. POOF! The lawsuit (and the company) disappears. Either way, they are not going to be able to continue on as a company. My 2p. Comments?
