Must be a bit tedious running over to your co-workers computer everytime you get a mail. :)

I think you better run to the correct forum before the wolfs get here. ;) ( Edit: There does not seem to be any question there though, so i take it back :) )

Maybe cheaper in the end to just buy Office 2007 for the customer. ;P

I just recently bought a V7 22" Wide. Have not had it for to long but considering the price i am pretty happy with it. Had to fiddle a bit more than usual with the colorsettings and the pic is a bit strange if a look from the wrong angle. But i only change the colors once and i usually sit in front of it so i do not regret buying it at all. =)

Technically this was a programming question and thus not desirable in the Lounge, but without limiting it to a specific language (which might not be desirable), and without cross-posting (which is definitely not desirable), which forum should it have been asked in?
microsoft.public.platformsdk.shell :)

i wish there was a "Postpone Until Friday 5:30pm" option.
I second that. Since they obviously know it is an issue and have added the options for Vista, why did they not add a longer one or better still an option to "Stop bothering me". On XP i always stop the update service after installing an update to get rid of the annoying dialog. If i do that on Vista the service restarts itself. X|

It feels like i always have the "new updates installed do you want to reboot now?" on my desktop. I usually do not restart immediately when they are installed and everytime i do restart the first thing that happens is that i get a message saying, "new updates available". X|

No crash, but i have to drop the item twice in the destination folder, the first drop does nothing. ( UAC is turned on but i did not get any prompt from it. )

My irk of everyday lately. In Vista. Try to select a bunch of files in the explorer by dragging. - It starts to drag the file instead. Try to drag a file. - It starts rubberbandselection. Try to bring up the contextmenu for a unselected file by RMB clicking. - You get the menu for the view. Try to get the menu for the view by clicking on anywhere on the row of an unselected item. - You get the menu for the item. Try to drop a file in a view with items. - The item gets dropped on some of the items. Try to drop a file on an item in a view. - The item gets copied to the folder. How they done any usabilitytesting on the Vista explorer at all? The root of the problem is the fullrowselect and some tweaks they made to the listviewcontrol to make things not possible in a normal fullrow view possibly. Only the frigging things works in reverse. Give me an option to turn fullrow select off!

That sounds strange, i can browse to it, open, edit, save without problems. ( When i run notepad as administrator that is. )

I see you have already found it but if you need to change it again. Run notepad as administrator to make the editing a little easier. :)

Black cars are the slowest since they absorb all other colors thus making them heavier. ;)
