Either that or he knew the wage he is on he could afford to book a holiday every week of the year and if he manages to go on only one of them then it's still not a problem for him.

Everyone's a joker on here aren't they ;p

Are you talking about the midlands as a whole? Or have you specifically selected Coventry? Sounds spot on, and I wouldn't change a thing. Except perhaps get the Sky Blues promoted back to where they belong :)

The West Midlands is where it's at. We get the best of both worlds close enough to the South to have an emotional side which the ladies love, yet North enough for a hard nut exterior. And luck for me I'm from just far enough away from Birmingham and the Black Country to avoid that god awful accent

Not in the supermarket no ;P all the real catches for that are at bingo.

You know I've never considered that, I do hate it once you break the seal and the beer to toilet trip ratio hits about 1:1

That's one I have played before, the old giant pack of Durex and a few other items from the same shelf in the old ladies trolley gag never gets old.

;P The annoying thing is that you're probably right.

I can't help but think how different things would have been if John Terry had taken a liking to Rob Green's girlfriend instead, resulting in him opting to stay home.

Even if we get to the next world cup, I will claim a different origin and pretend not to notice that it is happening.
You know that's not true. :P In 4 years time the papers will have all talked you into the fact that actually it's this time we are going to win it and everything is going to be fine. England will start of average and you will start to think maybe not. They will then play a couple of good games and just as you're starting to think the hype was perhaps well placed. They will crash and burn out of the tournament... but at least then it will only be a 4 year wait until the next :D

and they need to crack down on rubbish diving
Yes, something like a review of any suspected dives after the game and if it is deemed to be a dive then hit that player and that club with a financial penalty. That would be a start at least and wouldn't 'slow the game down' like so many people are worried about.

But after all is said and done, that just means you would have lost 4-2
You can't assume that, the Germans' final two goals came off the counter attack because England were forced to push everyone forward in order to try and make up the goal that they were not given earlier. This meaning the English defence would have been able to stay back a little more during the set plays in the second half. Hence why DD says it would have been an entirely different game.

The football yesterday, CCC today. When will your luck turn? :D
