That's not beta 2, it's an "interim release" that is more or less a snapshot at a given time. There isn't as much effort to make sure everything works right with a CTP as an official beta. Also, the feb CTP is of the Pro version, not the Team System edition, which has all the nifty testing and life cycle tools. -- Where are we going? And why am I in this handbasket?

I have not had any problems which I have noticed with Hotmail. It seems to be working as normal. Speed is not much of an issue for me however, I use Hotmail Popper to access hotmail as a standard POP3 box via Thunderbird. I think it is a good place to start, it's best feature is that it abstracts away from using the connection directly so that you have the potential of using a different database system if you need to. On my latest project, I ended up using CodeSmith and generated typed functions matching my stored procedures so that I have intellisense for the parameters. It's made it extremely easy to add things like instrumentation through performance counters. Well, the true answer is that it really does not matter much anymore. There is not much difference as far as features or performance goes. That said, most development teams would do best to work in the same language so that everyone can create, debug and maintain the code. Possibly because a "straight" multidimensional array is just a specific case of jagged array? A jagged array is an array that contains arrays, and these arrays can be of any length (including all the same). Web Services probably support jagged arrays, because these can be used to implement "straight" m-d arrays as well as anything else, but not the other way round. Got it the other week and I wish I had not upgraded now from 5. 6 is really, really slow. Takes forever to load mainly.
