I've got a Pay As You Go dongle with 3. Cost £50 to start plus £15 for each 3GB of downloads. I bought it from Currys, an electrical retailer, no ID required. Works really well on both PC and Mac, aside from pulling battery life down quite badly (I only get about 2-3 hours from my MacBook Pro when it's attached). I wouldn't be without it :-) You might want to check how good the coverage is before you buy, though - the 3 checker is available on this page[^] - other providers will have equivalents, I would have thought. Java, Basic, who cares - it's all a bunch of tree-hugging hippy cr*p

They'll downvote once, which is less significant (other than 4-5 downvotes in a row). I think downvotes are a rather spontaneous thing and your typical downvoters won't have created a pool of accounts in advance by the time they write their next article.
