ISO_3166-1 codes for the UK folks...Isn't a state a sovereign country? Unless you're from the USA.

TV Advice> ...as with all "thin" TV's the speakers are crap. The Sony A1E has moved the benchmark there - the screen IS the speaker and it sounds really good.

U.S. declares North Korea carried out massive WannaCry cyberattack"Programmer's Forum" is not the same as "Forum for discussing programs". You imply that programmers should not discuss anything but programs.

Skype Rant #2For my use, it has the edge on both Teams & SfB. It has teams (aka Channels) which SfB doesn't. It has pop-out windows which Teams doesn't (though they're working on adding it to Teams). It has video & audio calls. It has adding contacts outside your organisation. It has conferencing & desktop sharing. and all the normal messaging stuff. The only thing I use in SfB that Slack doesn't have is the voice calling to landlines. Give it a try...

3D movies, can you watch them?> ...looks like two superimposed images... Shut one eye. Sorted! ;P

Skype Rant #2But it's marginally better than Teams, which we're mandated to use and doesn't even have pop-out windows. Slack takes a lot of beating...

Locate my phoneI use Where's My Droid and it saved me once when I left my phone on the train. I tracked it live from my house via GPS as it made it's way to Ramsgate - I remotely triggered the camera and got several shots of a guy who had picked it up and was either trying to unlock it or just being curious. At Ramsgate station he walked to his house which I then got shots of on StreetView. Then I phoned him and let him know that a) I knew he had my phone b) I knew what he looked like and what he was wearing c) I knew wthat he lived directly opposite an off licence in XXX street. ...and politely asked if he'd mind dropping my phone off at the local police station the next morning. He obliged ;) Of course he *might* have been planning to hand it in anyway.

dock station problem: win10 + blinking cursor and black screen at login:-D I don't keep it *that* warm!
-
dock station problem: win10 + blinking cursor and black screen at loginI get similar, but worse, errors whenever I cold-boot my laptop (as in temperature-wise). It just hangs at the beginning of the boot, before it enters POST and long before it gets anywhere near Windows. I guess it's a motherboard issue, these days I never let it get cold and it's fine.

Free tool to sign executablesCould be very useful if it worked, or if it told me what I'd done wrong. Tried to sign a valid windows exe file, with valid version info, but it says:-
Parsing version error (e.g. 1.2.3.4)

365Office 365 currently has 'A problem with my account' that they 'need my help to resolve'. Apparently I need to uninstall Office, install Office 32-bit, uninstall Office 32-bit, install Office 64-bit before it'll stop implying that I don't have a license. I really can't be a*sed until it refuses to let me use it.

Please sit down and imagine...Ah OK, my mistake. Thought you were talking about SQL itself, not the database. I suspect 99% of databases live as long as the product they serve without significant rewrites.
-
Please sit down and imagine...No, me neither. How do you define upgraded vs updated? Is an update 'throw everything away and start again'? Windows was launched 35 years ago - has it been updated? Or upgraded? Or both? I don't see the difference. Semantics...

OK Microsoft - Where is it?>
Neither they reach the conclusion that banning Internet access to developers is counterproductive.
How can you develop code with no internet access? Anything more than Hello World & I'm straight onto Google.
