Alright, I have clicked through the DDK, but from what I understand it doesn't seem possible to accomplish. Apparently a PC can only act as a host control, and will identify itself as such to the other computer. Any ideas for starting points?

Hello, I was just wondering whether it was possible to connect two PCs with a USB cable and simulate a keyboard on one of them. I know I could do this with a client/server system using DirectInput, but would it still be possible without installing any software on the target machine? If possible I would like to avoid using any micro-controller between the to PCs. Any ideas whether that's possible or not? Ben

Hello, I have a standard DHTML File Upload form (transporting the file over the post command). Now when a user clicks the submit button I don't want a new page to be loaded, I want the file to be uploaded over an AJAX call. So that not the whole page needs to be reloaded! XMLHttpRequest Object can deal with POST data, but how can I give it the POST data of the file? With best regards, Ben

Hi Guys, anybody here from Germany? Well, I am. It was already nice from our politicans to raise the Taxes to 19%, but today I wanted to buy a new TFT. Since having a dell laptop and I'm very happy with that one. I checked out Dell Monitors. A 24" Monitor in Germany from Dell costs 1,075€ (1388.71 US Dollar). I also checked out the American Dell and there the same monitor costs 674 US Dollar. What's that? Is it just like Dell hating Germany and making up an extra Tax? I don't know how other Germans think about that, but lately most of the prices seems to be twice the price in America. Is Germany just gonna fuck up? Peace, Ben

Hello, Do you know if it is possible to restore a hard-drive completly over network. I mean even if the operating system is damaged or the partitions got deleted like restoring on low-level. I don't think the BIOS offers such a functionality, or maybe with boot from network? Maybe take a small linux installation and install it on a seperate partition? But when I got to [your favourite computer store] I was confronted with a large number of High-Tech Keyboard with cardreaders, display, calculators and so on. I prefered my technical very simple built cherry keyboard, but also I guess it's time to go with the time. To make a long story short: What keyboard are you using? Ok Guys, I got a big big big problem. I had a small accident ( won't describe it nearer, pretty embarrassing ) but however in this "accident" my iPod Mini was involved and it did not get away as I did. The Display just got two really nice cracks (you can still read something and guess the rest) but also the headphone jack got broken. Does any one of you guys know a site where I can get new things for my iPod ? Thanks in advance, Ben
