I have been preaching this exact same thing for 30+ years. IF you want something to work better. Force the programmers/tech people to actually do the job. Interestingly enough. The CEO or a local very large Grocery store got vilified for forcing his IT staff to do that exact same thing a few years ago. But it was the right idea! Make them use what they produce. They will then go make it better.

This be me. I can tie a bowline without looking at it. That along with a taught line hitch, Trumpet knot and your standard square knot. There really isn't anything I can't tie up/do with rope. The bowline is about the most versatile though.

for Teams, I did mean the flatpak version. Sorry wasn't clear on that. For some reason LibreOffice doesn't work well with alot of what we do here. I have found that WPS works amazingly well. But it doesn't work with my old LibreOffice files. So I end up using both. MasterPDF never heard of it before. But I must say after checking it out. Very nice. Not sure I want to buy it yet. But certainly going on the list.

I use Krita for dealing with images. anything to avoid GIMP. I know it is powerful. But the learning curve.

I use Linux almost exclusive except when I can't. And then I just Remmina(RDP) into whatever I need to do or spin up a VM. So today I got a new lappy and immediately put a flavor of Linux Debian on it. So far on my default I have the following installed. What would you add to yours. Curious to see the answers.
