If you put the different language versions of your lable text etc. into separate resource files, you can change them on the fly by reloading the appropriate resource file and modifying the appropriate text yourself. Load the initial resource file at startup using the current culture, then reload when the user changes the language selection. A little painful, as you will have to manage retrieving all the appropriate strings by key, and updating the pertinent controls yourself, but it will work. I've found the splitter to work best with docked controls.

The stethoscope effect is normally referred to as Microphonics. The e5s don't, mainly because they loop over the back of your ears. The earphones I had prior (Etymotic ER-4P[^]) were quite prone to it though, so it does depend on the earphone. As for sound, they're excellent. The E5s have a dual-driver design so you get an extremely articulate performance, I initially didn't like them as much as the Etymotic earphones, but I've gotten used to them now and they are awesome. I did have a pair of the Sony's at one point, but never really used to use them. Well, just because there is more than one does not mean they have to use them. That would be like saying you want cars to only have a steering wheel and we will leave out the break and gas pedals to make it easier for them. Actually, with the MAC, that would be like putting buttons under their seat that they have to use to go forward and backwards since the MAC you have to learn to hold down the command key to get the functionality you would have with a right mouse button. I've a Canon A40 and can definitely recommend that product range. As well as producing pics which are of incredible quality for a camera of its price range, it's also damn near indestructable and can run off AA batteries. If anything happened to my A40 I'd definitely buy an A80. :) With the increased resolution of the A80 over the A40, you may just find that the digital zoom is actually useable on the A80. The bottom line is of course how the picture quality compares between the two cameras... Thanks for your reply, after letting it rest and getting some sleep it only took me 10 minutes to find it ;) Problem was that I was using WTL's CDC and not CDCHandle, CDC destroys the DC when it goes out of scope... Argh stupid me, I've made this mistakes dozens of times for fonts and cursors and bitmaps, just when I thought that I wouldn't make it again this shows up... Anyway thanks for your answer.
