I've gotten 5 emails with the CP Mobile Newsletter in the last 30ish min. Anyone else or are my companies hamsters broken?

Do people here actually like the Oracle database?
No. We have to support our project for both oracle and sql server, and oracle is a constant source of consternation. Like someone else said, the tools are from the stone age. And don't even get me started on on sub releases of the ODAC managed .net driver and half-assed implementation of their own database encryption with poor documentation on what features actually function.

I second this. 16GB is the absolute minimum I would put in a new machine, and if you could leave room to expand to 32 in the future it would be a good idea.

18 / 2 = 9...you'd have to work in bye's after the first round. It would be a mess.

Fair enough. It's easier to draw it that way than some convoluted picture with the extra lines sticking out into nowhere.

I wish Asus would have offered the pro/ultimate/whatever version on their gaming series at the time. Do not know if thats still the case.

I saw all of that, I just find it completely ridiculous. I didn't know it was also a limitation on 8, i never used it enough to notice.

Windows 10 Home doesn´t have gpedit?! Is there anything about windows 10 that is isn't a steamy pile? I'm dual booting a few year old Asus G70...its stupid how much faster Linux Mint is. Grumble Grumble. EDIT: Since this is apparently not 10 specific, ill just complain about the reason i needed it in the first place. It is apparently the easiest way to disable windows defender from eating 70% CPU when its not actually doing a scan. This thing obviously just needs trashed.

Especially technical people? Have you met the rest of the world? This is not unique behavior.
