In the present case, it is the whole comment block that gets highlighted when hovered, not only the reply icon. This behavior is somehow inconsistent with the rest of the design, in which I always get a rectangular outline (or even a complete button appearing) on the clickable zone only, what clearly makes clickable zones stand out. Propositions: 1. Do not highlight the whole line, but only the "reply" button, as in a forum message highlighting. So by hovering the comment, the "reply" icon background will also get dark red (or crimson or whatever the color is named, I am no woman). or 2. Highlight the whole line AND get the icon background dark red. or 3. Make the whole line clickable, and a click would fire up a reply. (I reckon this could be an annoying behaviour on touchscreens, as you could not touch a comment to scroll down/up). I know that you wrote that you prefer the current behaviour, I still try my luck. :-D
