Simplest method turned out to be iterating through the list, parsing any DateTime fields with the DateTime.Parse() method specifying "en-GB" CultureInfo as the DateTimeFormat parameter :cool: Evil cannot be conquered in the world... It can only be resisted within oneself.

I'll recommend the usual Subversion, completely free for home many users there are. I've actually set up my own Windows 2003 Server back at home and use VisualSVN Server[^] for configuring the server side of things (makes things very simple) and TortoiseSVN for the client. The advantage I can see of Subversion is that it's very widely used and open source, lots of people use it and from what I can remember there are plug-ins available for it to work with other version control systems so if you do decide to change then you can move things over with less hassle than other systems. I for a while hated source control but after using Subversion love it. You can if you're using Visual Studio a lot pay $49 for a VisualSVN client for it (I tried the demo and it was great) but seeing as I don't absolutely need it I just use Tortoise although I might buy one over the summer for work. Hi there, In this case, you can think of hiding the datagrid row (DataGridItem) using the Visible property, so depending on the databound bound to the row you can set either the specific cells of the row or the entire row invisible, and the user does not see that displayed on the grid.

One way to make w2k look better (without too much effort) is to fiddle a little with edges, borders, icons, bitmaps and colors. 3d? Client edge? Flat? Different colors on error, warnings, etc? Images on buttons? Other than that I have no real good advice. -- I can't resist a touch of evil.

I found that I needed to install the Exchange SDK. I installed the latest version, 2003, and it seems it needs ctl3d.h which isn't provided with VS .NET, but is provided by the original MAPI samples, the ones that have been removed from the SDK! So I included that and it got as far as then wanting rtflib.h. Can't get any further, and though this file is mentioned on MSDN as containing a core function of Exchange Server, the Exchange SDK doesn't contain it! The problem, I think, is that your NT service is running under a different account (typically LocalSystem) therefore cannot open the appropriate e-mail connection. What you can do is, reconfigure the NT service to run under the correct user account (the account that owns the e-mail profile, etc.). It's also the Kangaroo effect. I've always been very fascinated with Kangaroos, would love to see one, even in a zoo, but Australians put bars on the front of their trucks to bounce them out of the way.
