I have a couple of domains registered through 123-reg and they have Domain locking management in their control panel. This is what they say. Domain locking allows you to lock a domain against transfers and nameserver changes. This prevents accidental changes to the important details of your domain name, as it will need to be unlocked (an easy process) before modifications will be accepted. This is a registry lock, not a 123-reg lock. This means it won't prevent transfers to another 123-reg user, only to another registrar, e.g Network Solutions. I think I will go lock my domains now. Just tried this and it is available on my .net but not .org.uk

There is a Beltane fire festival[^] in Edinburgh which is on the 30th April and is to celebrate the arrival of spring. The Peebles Beltane[^] marks the return of summer and has been combined with the Riding of the Marches (town boundaries) to become the Peebles Beltane.

Tomorrow is the last day of the Beltane Week in Peebles, Scottish Borders[^]. There is a fancy dress parade through the town tonight with prizes for the best ones. All the local primary schools have floats + lots of other groups. Tomorrow morning there is a parade with some of the fancy dress people + normally 6+ pipe bands, silver band etc. Then there are the Beltane Sports including a 10K road race + 3K fun run[^] Should be good fun.

I saw a kids program on this fairly recently. The wood is actually in 2 parts with a groove down the middle A thin graphite rod is placed in the groove and the 2 parts stuck together The wood is then cut into pencil lengths and sharpened. Jeeves helped me find this page[^]
