Same kind of a thing happend to me few days back, & the feature which was not installed correctly was web tools, and in the result made my web application stops working.. Googled it and corrected by opening the Visual Studio ISO and installing the webtools package separately. :)

Thanks alot... It solved my problem.. Now image uploaded successfully.. But I think CP Team should remove the JPEG from the restricted file formats as well..

when i try to rename the file in Windows7. i.e. filename is upload and when i rename it, it shows upload.jpg in file name and in the status bar extension still shows as JPEG. how to change the extension???

I have been trying to upload my profile picture since morning, initially the error i faced was of filesize restriction upto 20K max. but now I am trying to upload a 11KB picture in .JPEG format and getting the following error.

You can try to generate the script of your DB along wid data ... I hope that could fulfill your need.
