Well your right for your explanation but let me add that the primary partition is the one that we can wright on their bootsector(located at the first sector from the first track(512KB) of your PRIMARY partition only which is also called BOOT partiton ) that is, operating systems may be installed on one till 4 primary partitons that gives you a chance for multi-boot(Windows, Linux, BSD Unix ..etc.) on same machine, and extended partitons cannot be boot partitions and thus they may hold logical drives for saving data only! I really do not agree with you that Sebastian Schneider wrote: "primary" simply indicated the "most basic partitioning system". Extended partitions are primary partitions, too. Yes, it means that a process is not exiting (closing or whatever) fast enough when it receives the message to shutdown. My Symantec AntiVirus 2006 has a couple of processes that do the same thing; they don't stop fast enough. I don't do anything; I give them more time to finish; they eventually do. If you give the process (whatever it is) time to finish and if it does then it is probably best to always do that. If the dialog box does not go away after a couple of minutes or fast enough for your requirements then you can push the End Now button and probably there will not be any damage to your data or whatever. It is best however to let the process finish if possible.

"MDI" stands for Multiple Document Interface. It's made up of a MDI Parent form that has multiple MDI Child forms displayed in it. That changes things than i haven't used the setup project part in Vb6 but i know that most computers should have the Vb6 framework on them so you should be able to run your program on any computer no trouble.

That's a little vague... What OS is it? If it's Windows 2000 or later the client is automatically installed along with TCP/IP, so you wouldn't be installing it separately. Earlier versions left it up to the user to configure networking clients and protocols. But they also created an Administrator user account with a blank password. Normally a user would install the OS, set up netowrking and reboot, then log in using Administrator as the username and leaving the password field blank. The next step would be to create a password for the Administrator account and create user accounts with lower privileges. If it's an existing installation, check to see if there's a drop down box on the login screen that lets you select between a local logon or network logon - the Client changes this screen. Go to Control Panel, and open Sounds and Audio Devices. Click on the Sounds tab and find the Start Windows sound. Click on that and then the Browse button. Burn speed just has to do with how fast it write the data, not the speed of the music or even the quality. I would suggest burning slow if you have the time. Burning at the fastest speed has the highest chance of corrupt files, although it is not all that high of a chance, it is there, and if possible is best to avoid. The only way to speed up a Macintosh computer is at 9.8 m/sec/sec.
