I'm not sure which category I should put this in, so I'll start here. We're running an application server with Win2003 on it. RDesktop 6.0 is installed on the application server, but the clients differ. Some of the clients are running XP (RDesktop 5.1-6.0) but the majority of our machines are running win2000, which only support RDesktop 5.1. The problem is that the application we run on our application server from all these different terminals gets really slow when we're busy. The weird part is that sometimes it doesn't give us trouble when we're busy. We've talked to our application developer and he says we need to update all the machines to XP and run RDesktop 6 because it will optimize performance. Would the different versions of RDesktop be causing bad performance?

:confused: I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but I think the majority of the people on this board are smarter than the others boards I get on. I work with an E-commerce site and they just recently replaced all of their servers and hosting companies. Well, ever since they have been switched over, some AOL customers can't even pull up the site. Some of them CAN load the main page, but when they try to sign up or login, they get Page Cannot be Displayed. I've called AOL on numerous occasions and the call consist of the techie going "uhhhh.... uhhhh...." and then I just hear *CLICK*. I guess when you're not a paying customer, they really don't HAVE to help you. Any clues on how I can figure this out will be great.

Is anyone having a problem with the google feed from Digg? Mine has been unavailable all day long. I know Digg isn't down, because I went there earlier today. Is there an updated feed or something?

Yea, this guy really reminds me of something in that situation. He swore he grew up in "hard times", but his parents have a REALLY nice house. Ohh, I forgot the 2004 & 2006 Yukon they have. Not just a normal one, but the upgraded chrome bells and whistle types. Not too mention a Lexus was his first car, then he wrecked it. They bought him a Passport, then a Civic, and some other car I can't think of. I always knew he was fake, he used to brag about doing things that he knows he didn't do. The only thing that makes me mad about this situation is, not he lies all the time, but the way he talked to my wife. It kind of makes me laugh at the same time though, because he swears he's something. Note the "keep my name out yo mouth". It's not like he's T.I. or she told CNN and wrote the newspaper. Well, other than that, I can't wait until Friday is over. WoW has been calling my name since Monday!:laugh:

Well, this guy doesn't live in the same state as me anymore. It's about a 2 hour drive where he lives. I don't really want to do anything about it though. It really doesn't get to me. It just raises a question in my head, "WTF was I thinking when this guy was my friend?" I really don't want to give him/my ex the attention they want. I have a question. I have a friend and he swears he's a gangster. Anyways, he's always preaching about 'girls aint sh**", "bros before hoes", "blah blah blah". Anyways, I'm married. So this friend is dating one of my ex girlfriends. The ex called my phone last week and REALLY made my wife mad, IE: calling my wife a bit.., telling her she 'aint shi.', and requested to speak to me. ANYWAYS, I haven't talked to this girl in years, and she still has this thing for me. Well, my wife e-mailed this friend and told him she hates him. Amazingly he replies back "Keep my name out yo mouth" and a bunch of other random rappish slang "don't hate". You know, all that good stuff from malibu's most wanted. I msg my friend today and ask him what the deal is and now he's mad at me. He said it amazes him. OK, with the background, my question is, Why do guys try to act so hard? Yet, when they're in the situation, they do the direct opposite?:laugh:
