If I remember correctly she's turned down a nomination to the Hall of Fame several times.

Oh wow. That does cause an effect. It made me think of those old Magic Eye books from the 1990s. That and a little wibbly wobbly

Rammstein is good, but I prefer Die Toten Hosen[^] Just my two cents since we are posting good German bands.

Good luck. Half marathons are fun. keep it slow and steady. I used to be a competitive runner about 5 years ago. That was before, having a few kids, starting smoking, and gaining about 60 extra pounds. I've sense quit the smoking, started jogging again (plan to get back into it full swing), weight is slowly dropping.

How about a singularity?

I'm assuming the user was set up in exchange and active directory. Usually the mailbox password is the same as the user's windows logon. Hince, if the computer he is using is on the domain and the network, he should be able to get his email, unless for some reason he is locked out in active directory. If he's off the domain and trying to access it through outlook anywhere or OWA it should still be his user and pass for logging onto windows.

Adding to that, if you can get to safe mode, and assuming you have windbg installed you can debug the minidump files that are located in C:\Windows\minidump, and see exactly where the stop occured and what caused it. Although if the stop is generated before the service that captures the dumps has started that's a moot point. When I worked for Dell, being able to get a customer's minidumps were invaluable. Being able to see what processes caused the stop, saved me from reinstalling the OS on over 100 systems.

I would check in Device Manger and see if anything shows up as an Unknown Device. If not check Universal Serial Bus Controllers and see if anything there is not showing correctly. Then Click on Action at the top and click "Scan for hardware changes." I'm assuming you've tried multiple USB ports on the system. One more thing you might try is unistalling the USB Root Hubs located under Universal Serial Bus Controllers in Device Manager, though if you have a USB mouse and keyboard they will stop responding untill the system reboots, and then it could be a while before they are re-enumerated, and able to be used again (barring failing bus on the MB). Other than that I'm not sure where else to go on it. It could be a corruption in the USB.sys file.
Zach
I agree with John, I would check the website. Also, if the system has a current support contract from Dell on it, and it did not have a Weven upgrade option, When you install Windows 7 it Dell will not provide any assistance with the OS as it did not ship from the factory with it installed or have the upgrade. I'm running Weven x64 on my Desktop that I just received from Dell. I have not had one issue out of the OS.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you may need a second DC off that host. If the host goes down, it will not be able to authenticate to the DC because the DC went down with it. With a second DC off the host the host will be able to authenticate to the backup, which will be a copy of the primary DC. edit: After looking around a bit I found this http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd239199(WS.10).aspx[^]. It shows the best practices of 2008 but the principles filter down to 2003.

2003 Do not join the instance of Windows Server 2008 that is running on the parent partition to the Windows SBS 2008 domain. If you install the primary and second servers on virtual machines on a single physical computer, and you join the instance of Windows Server 2008 that is running on the parent partition to the Windows SBS 2008 domain, a cyclic dependency is created between the parent and child partitions. If this occurs, the domain controller on the virtual machine is unavailable, and it can become more difficult to manage the parent operating system. However, you can mitigate this issue if you have an additional Active Directory domain controller on a different physical computer in the domain. In this case, you can join the parent partition to the domain.

That's the way I like to do it too. I was lured into a false sense of security by how easy it was for the heat one step down. It was still really good though...the 2 that I ate.

I had a plate of those once before going out to play some pool. I think I was able to make it through 2 and a half before I said it's just not worth it. Man I want to go back and try my luck again.

Ah the lightning BSOD. Next time you install it and it starts with the BSOD, reboot and tap F8 and when the Windows Advanced Boot options come up select Disable Automatic Restart on System Failure. That will give you all the time you need to read the BSOD. If it works in normal Safe mode it appears that there is a conflict with some driver. If you have Windows debugger you can look inside the actual dump file to find out what the problem is. About 90% of BSOD's are fixable. If you don't have windbg you can download it from microsoft, or if you'd rather. You can email me the minidump files located at c:\Windows\Minidumps and I will debug it and let you know what I find. Maybe We can get it to work.

From what I found on BBC America's website, it looks like it will be aired over 5 nights in one week. I also had the day wrong. I had it confused when they air Doctor Who "Planet of the Dead." The mini series for Torchwood here starts 20 July...Woohoo only 10 more days left.
Zach
That's depressing. I've been waiting for it to air on BBC America, just like the Doctor. It looks like it will have a really good story line. Does it live up to the hype I am getting on this side of the pond? I still have to wait till 27 July before I get to watch these episodes.

77.5% It appears as though I've forgotten my basics, but darnint bring on the fluid dynamics.

Wow, I haven't heard that song in ages. Very catchy. I'll be singing it for the rest of the day atleast.

And now there is a study showing that we don't save any money in power bills with DST, but rather it costs us more in electricity and energy.
