Just thought of a follow on ... If an employee (human) said that then I believe it is settled contract law that the company is liable. That is why timeshare (and other) contracts say that absolutely nothing that the sales person said applies. But what about the sentient (non-human) employee?

There was a meme in a mechanics forum recently about "getting to the guy who has a bad cylinder fire now that he replaced his ECU chip with one he found on eBay".

Some drives are too long for no tunes, too bereft of radio signal for AM/FM, and don't have XM. Without pairing to stream something besides road noise, I'd be asleep in a cactus beside a flipped rental.

Look for R/C flight simulators. They're almost guaranteed to have drones now. Many will also interface with an actual real R/C controller.

The maddening bit to all of this is that poking these articles further, you find stuff like the metrics for performance reduction post-patch because they can't really "fix" the hardware so we get software fixes sitting atop it and gumming up the works.

I'm not sure I get where QtProcess comes into it. The SDR data can presumably be aggregated into a local DB? I did something similar with XML data from a bunch of government feeds. I'd assume something like: 1) loop a list of SDR 'feeds' - 'links' to various SDR data sources across the web - pulling down data 2) aggregate data in db 3) scheduled process runs across the data in db finding the bits you care about

Buy gift cards like you're gonna pay a Nigerian prince in dire straits. Only don't send them to him, but use them as the cards you plug in for this sort of stuff. No more auto-renew anything. :)

Waxing cynical... it's pretty dang smart if you ask me. The corpora-spyware definitely looks at teams activity for MSFT to sell your employer a metric on how hard you work (or don't).
