Please don't judge us all based on the posts of a few. I understand your concern about westerners only seeing western news coverage. I've seen some of it, and it disgusts me. That being said, the fact that Al Jezeera is showing the same images from a different point of view is also disturbing. I think that it's important to understand the bias of the source of news that you watch. If you recognize the bias, and understand that no one broadcasts news without a bias, then you can start to see what's really going on. And seeing what's really going on, I am ashamed of my fellow human beings for causing so much death. Doug Goulden wrote: Not trying to justify the actions of the US, just tired of hearing about how awful the US is. To bad there really isn't any unbiased source. I've found that the BBC World News coverage seems to be the most honest reporting I have seen. They seem to have a reasonable number of interviews with individuals whose opinions cover all sides of this conflict. Sky News also seems to be unbiased. Followed at a distance by CNN. Fox News, as has been mentioned seems, to be the most biased, even to the point of cutting off interviewees and misrepresenting their views as they happen. They seem to yell a lot.:laugh: I know - real programmers use VI! But sometimes I need a prettied-up document, and Office is a bloated, grossly overpriced piece of crap. Borland's Sprint did a better job of making professional documents, and it cost all of $49. For most purposes I prefer Notepads... either MS or the quad-ruled paper variety. My point is simply this: the US didn't have diplomatic relations with Iraq and Russia was Iraq's biggest arms dealer. Does this sound like the actions of an American puppet government? Of course not! ------------------------------------------ "What happened in that Rhode Island club is shocking. To think that over a hundred people would attend a Great White concert." - The Onion
