From the June 12 edition of MSDN Flash: From the Editor Name change department: InfoCard is now CardSpace, and WinFX is now the .NET Framework 3.0. You'll be seeing the old names for a while, but now you know what's coming down the pike. Do I read this correctly? It sounds like WinFX is being dropped (as quietly as possible), and the .NET Framework is being left essentially as-is. After six years, does Vista have nothing new except a bit of eye candy? No, WinFx and all its components are now included under the .NET Framework 3.0 label. So .NET 3.0 has Indigo etc. inside it. regards, Paul Watson Ireland FeedHenry needs you

No you are not reading that correctly. If you were to read that correctly you would know that WinFX isn't going anywhere its just getting a real name (which is .NET 3.0). Had you read that correctly you would have also known that InfoCard is also not leaving it is merely getting a different name.
