My girlfriend is out of town for a few days, so I went for dinner alone tonight. I sat outside, enjoyed a few brews, and had the good fortune of sitting across from a couple of knock-out English ladies. :omg: Well...not exactly knock-out...here's the situation: After they sat down at the table next to me I gave them a quick glance. They were both looking really good (this is pre-beer mind you! :) ). Out of the corner of my eye, I scanned one of the ladies. First the face, nice! Then went south, very nice! Then went down to the equator, very very nice!! Then I made it to the South Pole, the feet. Ugh. Open-toe sandals revealing a deranged assortment of toes. Crooked toes. Toe hair. Yellow-ish toenails! X| :sigh: :( That really ruined it for me. Is this a common reaction, or am I a freak?

Just a sign your girlfriend is in for trouble, hope she is reading your post! In case the "south pole" was modelled after Diana?? Best regards, Paul.

She wouldn't care about that. I intend on telling her this story when she gets back. She'll get a kick out of it. So, I don't think she's in trouble (nor am I).

I have to agree with you. Just because you paid for a pedicure does not mean your feet are eye-pleasing. I have weird shaped feet that when I wear open toed sandals it looks like I only have four toes (my pinky top is lower than my big toe bottom). So I keep them covered mostly. I also hate having my feet touched or having other feet touching me. If my husband touches my leg with his foot in bed I have an automatic reaction to kick my leg away. Even if he has clean socks on.

Hmm.. I would rethink that. She may not seem to care now, and perhaps she won't. But, down the road she will remember. Trust me, she will.

Yes, even if he cleaned his feet in Lysol and put clean socks on that were dried on a hot enough temp to kill every known bacteria. I can't stand feet.

I start scanning at the toes, the ankles, and if they are all fine, and don't look rugged, old, dirty, and the shoes are the right kind (my kind), only then I go anywhere north. A woman who cannot take care of her feet is not worth wasting time on. I once almost threw up when I looked at a woman's toes. Long toe-nails with dirt under them. Ugh. And no, you are not a freak. She is!.

Wow. That almost amounted to her having long dirty toenails, covered with puke. Now that is nasty!! X|

Yeah that's pretty bad. I wouldn't be caught dead like that, especially in the summer time. When the polish chips, I get them re-done. Just go in every few weeks, it's pretty simple. Although I'm starting to dream in Korean...

Shouldn't be a problem, Mickey Mouse (and most cartoon characters) only have four [fingers and] toes - and millions of people watch them daily. Of course, they're all laughing :) Oh yeah - almost forgot... When my girls were small they had Alladin bath towels. The princess (or whatever she was) had 12 toes. Never seemed to bother my girls.

Ok, feet are ugly, but seriously - who looks at feet? Besides you that is. I mean, what's the point? Now calves... mmm...

When you say calves...you are just thinking of baby cows, for the veal, right? We know you've got a one-track mind - food, food, food :)
