What?! The punchline has a double meaning. If one's kid sister does NOT know the alternative meaning then it is safe. If one's kid sister DOES know the alternative meaning then any safety restriction in place isn't going to matter much the damage was done before now.

I disagree with that reasoning. Things like nudity (pics, links) and profanity are banned in the Lounge too - but since kids would already understand them to be profanity/nudity, then any safety restriction in place isn't going to matter much since the damage was done before now!

No man there is third line in this joke. In that the kid sister is not safe. So he has stopped it with the two lines.

No, there's no third line. If you want to be pedantic you could say that, since the final line has two meanings it could count as lines 2 and 3 all on it's own. But that'd be silly. FWIW, I've heard jokes one hell of a lot more explicit and obvious than this on shows like The Simspsons. IMHO totally kid sister safe, and apparently safe to those who aren't entirely aware of some of the nuances of the English language (",) Dave

This really depends on you knowing that a double entendre is actually innuendo.

Ah, that explains it all! (erm, not!) Guess I'm slow today. Marc

I'll be the pretend 'kid sister', 'cause I'm possibly the youngest person here. It's not really a rude joke. It's pretty funny just how short it is, but there's no need to get all bothered about it.

LOL - you don't count as a "kid anything" since you are Aussie. You guys swear and make dirty jokes right from infancy, don't you?

Oh, I'm hurt that you'd think that! Although I guess you have a point. ;P Ever hear the one about the hillbilly newlyweds?

A woman walks into a bar and asks for a double-entendre. So the barman gives her one.

That was actually funny. I do not understand why people here will whine so much over a joke.

Nudity is obvious, innuendo is not. It's hiding in plain sight. That's why it is often thrown into children's movies and cartoons. A little something extra for the adults to chuckle at while their kids laugh with the funny talking donkey.
