Aisha Ikram wrote: Ok tell me what you think what is our end? where we will eventually go? are we totally destroyed after our deaths? Well, given the limitations of our own knowledge, we do not have any definitive answer. Then there are a group of people throughout the history of mankind who have answered these questions on behalf of the creator. They are called the messengers or prophets, namely Adam, Noah, Lot, Joseph, Jonah, David, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammed. We have the freedom to accept (believe) or reject them; it is our choice.
Do followers of Mohammed believe in Jesus? If so, what do they believe about him?

Aisha Ikram wrote: it was proved that a non-living cell can't create a living cell, only a living cell can produce another living cell It was thought that people would suffocate on trains if they went faster then 20mph, it was thought that the world was flat. It was proved that bumblebees couldn't fly eventhough we know they do (and we now know how they do it). Many things are proved everyday which are later disproved by more upto date methods. Just because we cannot do something now does not mean that we cannot do it. It would be a shame to think that the human race is at the pinnacle of its success and knowledge. Tell me if we manage to find a way to travel faster then light will we go backwards in time or will we just get there faster?

Shaun Wilde wrote: Tell me if we manage to find a way to travel faster then light will we go backwards in time or will we just get there faster? Man, we could spend a few 's over this one. Mixing a little Einstein with some Nitron you get two types of 'time'. Einstein boasts "relative time" and his theory of relativity. I like to consider an "Absolute time". That is, time of the purest form, outside of all relative frames of refrence and defined purley by the statement: 'Time is a measure, defined by human perception, as the continuum between two events.' Thus in "absolute time", travel at the speed of light will only get you there faster, although your relative time (with respect to another frame of reference) may have seemed to pass more slowly (or quickly depending on the other's frame of reference)... Hmm... too early  - Nitron

However Muslims do not consider him as a son of God.

Luther Weeks wrote: If there is a god, and he lets this happen, he can keep heaven to himself. Who are you to tell God how to run the universe? It is precisely this arrogance, this rejection of God which you have so eloquently shown us, that has caused all of our grief in the first place. Your dead mother and father no longer have a choice whether they want to make it to heaven or not, but you do. Personally, I would rather believe in God and end up being wrong than the other way around.

Yeah, so we should believe in God just in case all the religious kooks are right and when we die our souls will be handed to the devil for all the sins we've committed. See, it makes more sense to me that if there is a God waiting to finally show us his presense when we die, he will take our souls to a place of peace and eternal bliss, regardless of what we did when we were alive. However, I'm not convinced of this either. I think more that our lives are as relevant as that of the blade of grass on a lawn, or the bacteria crawling on my hands as I type, or the birds on the trees, or my sister's cat. We just have a more developed brain, that's all. I'd like to think that our souls will move on to a better place, but it doesn't make sense when I think about all the other living on this planet. Will they all go to a better place too? Regards, Alvaro

If Muslims believe Jesus was sent by God then why would he be lying by calling himself God's Son (John 11:4)? Check out http://answering-islam.org/[^] and let me know what you think of it. \ I don't know much about the Qur'an or Mohammed, but I'd like to read more about them. Its up to each individual to figure out what he/she believes and we need ask God to open our hearts to the truth. I sincerely hope you find it. :)
