    Just reading through a job spec I've been sent by a recruiter and got to this line;

    An emphasis on verbal and written communication skills. As opposed to what? Mime? Interpretive dance? Semaphore?

    Ties. Apparently they have meaning. It's Serious Business for many manager-type people, the only type of people that have time to worry about tie-astrology.

      I'm not sure that would be a great opening line should I get an interview.

        I would turn down a job offer if they required me to wear a tie every day. Pointless bloody disease ridden strips of cloth. Only purpose to they serve is to remind you of meals you once had.

                                To live, work or visit? Small 1 High street Town. Just off Portsea Island but probably still classed as Portsmouth by most. Reasonably nice area/houses in East Cosham, slums in West Cosham (Paulsgrove) where they had the Paedophille riots 10 years back.

                                      Last time I wore a black cloak, I also carried around about 30+ kg of chainmail, padding a helmet, a sword and a shield. Is that enough for your weak nerves? :-)

                                          If your looking to live then I'd recommend Hayling Island. If you want to be closer to Cosham then look at Bedhampton, Porchester, Horndean or Widley. Can I ask what company? private it me if you like.
