I disagree with everything. You seem to be very pessimistic on this subject. Although I wish there were a lot of things different in this country, I don't hate it.

No, not at all. Christianity, for example, teaches we should not murder. I am not violating anyone's rights by outlawing murder and "pushing" that belief on others.

Perhaps it's time you look of the reality of what I can safely presume is your religion's core. I doubt you will - "hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil" - and you can keep drawing those halo's around what historically is a gang of blood-thirsty thugs. Let's see - how did that right-wing mantra go? Oh, yes "kill a commie for christ". Warms the heart, doesn't it?

Interesting report. Having only 22% of Democrats extremely proud does not mean the other 78% hate the country. One graphics show that only 5% of Democrats are not proud.

First off, you are WAY off topic here. I simply gave a simple example to prove your statement wrong. You then took that as an invitation to attack Christianity. Which I am fine with. You have your right to believe what you want and I can prove you wrong all day long.

Clearly it is not safe for you to presume anything. Are you suggesting I am wrong about my statement that it was not Christianity that was bloody but that it was idiots claiming to be Christians? If you disagree, what evidence do you have? Rather than go straight to juvenile insults, back something up.

I know. But the poll does show a clear distinction for love of country between the left and right. And the left does not like this country. Yet they won't ever leave. :-\

That is funny, because the graphic says they are proud of it. So, they must like it. Except for a very small percentage, who are not proud (they don't say they don't like it, though). Sometimes I am not proud of my brother, but I like him very much.

Well - a perfect way to assign oneself perfection. Falls back, of course, into that conservative trope that 'you and people who think like you' all could easily walk-on-water. Anyone who upsets your claim just isn't part of the party and you can thus continue your claim of perfection. That is the mentality of those who have justified butchering of innocents for pretty much all recorded history.

No - just proves your realm of information is limited in scope to that which supports what you want to be reality. Ya know - devotees of islam call themselves the religion of peace . . . - Jews have a call for genocide (against Amelek)* - protests kill catholics and both burn 'heathens' at the stake. Does anyone agree with me that Nike is really run by a bunch of assholes? If these[^] assail anyone's sensibilities about the era of slavery in US History then I have one additional suggestion for Nike and all those who revel in finding offense everywhere: don't y'all wear no cotton as it may remind you of dem ol' cotton fields a-back home. When did this "co-opting" take place?

Give us this day our foamy head, and forgive us our spillage as we forgive those who spill against us. And lead us not to incarceration, but deliver us from hangovers. For thine is the beer, the bitter and the lager, for ever and ever. Barmen.

When they push their views, particularly religious views, upon others around them - they violate one of the great principles upon which this country was founded.   They are destroying a supporting foundation of the greatness - and thus not only hate it but are its enemy. And, of course, those that want to buy an arsenal of weapons, hold up in some compound (in Idaho, perhaps?) and decide they don't have to live by the laws of the land - and got the weapons to defend the right to be separatists (how is that different, than, say, islamic seperatist anywhere else in the world?). Pick and choose amendments and rights for others? They hate this country. They want to make it into something else - and it's not into anything good - except of course for them.

                                        a) what does what religious people do have anything to do with non-liberals? b) what does pushing your religious views on others have to do with hating your country? edit: especially of the country was founded on the religion in question

Um, yeah, that's what a minority of these people believe for sure, but what does that have to do with hating your country? Why does insisting on having your (perceived) rights mean you hate your country? People who live in free countries and demand freedoms are taken away....that's who hates their country.
