Then you get the ability to download music (I think 25 songs a month), plus videos, radio stations etc. That is what you are paying $9.95 a month for. It does not install other programmes without asking nor does it break anything. I think they fired their whole dev team and got a new one for RealONE :) I still don't like Real much though.
