This is most likely caused by a load issue while trying to generate the list. If it's during heavy load, a recache of messages, or database maintenance then some very large forums (and the lounge is the biggest) can get dropped by the cacher. Sorry :( cheers Chris Maunder

Thanks for prompt reply. Unfortunately I need to limit my reply... I had an eye surgery and having a heck of a time reading small font... and there is no easy way to set EVERYTHING to larger font... each app has it own setting... I should have thought about that BEFORE getting my eyeballs refurbish... Now if I use CAPS some people will get offended.... again... CHEERS

I really did not intended to start deep technical discussion about the "molasses" OS , but... Explain this to me - I do not recall which "release " started this - but every now and then I am getting " application xyz is not responding " and the options are "quit it" or "wait". And it does not matter what app is "not responding". For instance ,when I do "software update" - with nothing else running - I get this stupid dialog right away... I may have very simplistic view on things - but when this started with OS version X it cannot be because it is Friday .... or some other process is using common resources...

If you can get Notepad++ working on Linux through Wine, as per [this page](https://itsfoss.com/notepad-plus-plus-linux/), you can record a script in it to do the job. Don't know how difficult it will be to do across multiple files, as far as opening them individually goes, but the script can be assigned a keyboard shortcut to make it easier. You can also use extended characters to search and replace every occurrence without having to trigger the macro for each instance in the file. I get the need to leave IE (its been deprecated for several years) but all the other choices have only very recently dropped (or will drop) support for Win7. I suspect you're going to be fine with today's versions for several years before protocols change enough to matter.
