Teams is a core UI component to the Microsoft 365 environment, using Exchange on-line for chats and SharePoint on-line for file storage. My staff uses both Teams and Slack, depending on who they're talking to. Now the braindead Teams client that ships with Windows 11 - that needs to go away.

Many companies I worked for tried to get away from Lync/Skype/Teams. Every single one of them failed: there will always be at least one customer or provider who adamantly refuses to use anything else, so you're forced to keep it and use it every time some of those customers / providers needs to be in call, which means that it becomes the standard. I certainly won't notice. I only install Chrome and/or Firefox if there's a business reason to do so. Except for a couple of banking sites and ADP, Edge simply works. (Note: ADP breaks on all browsers.)
